A downloadable game for Windows

NOTE: The Game Off 2020 version is a duct-taped prototype that suffers from time running out. Issues include:

  • The 4 data files upstairs cannot be picked up for some mystifying, unknown reason
  • In order to get up stairs, you need to jump
  • The lights act strange in many places
  • The area is quite unfinished
  • Some data files cannot be fully read due to the limits of the current inventory GUI
  • Third person view instead of the initially planned first person view due to the limits of the current inventory GUI

These are needed for playing:

  • WASD or arrow keys for moving around
  • Shift for running
  • Space for jumping
  • F for picking up items
  • I for opening and closing inventory
  • Mouse for moving the inventory window to get it to show most, if not all, of the text and for hovering over the text files
  • Escape for exiting the game - NOTE: The game closes the moment you press it, although the text files you have found are saved. Where? I don't know; I couldn't uncover the inventory save's location.

In Project Moonshot, you wake up all alone in a strange facility. As you pick up a tablet meant for scanning and  saving texts, you set out to explore and try to figure out where you are, who you are, what you are and why the facility is deserted but operational. What is this Project Moonshot that the facility appears to have been created for?

The prototype version features 12 data files that you can pick up (and the aforementioned 4 that for some reason just don't pick up), a nearly fully-accessible facility (although corridors and furnishing are in progress and one room is unavailable because of it) and... an over-ambitious project worthy of the theme Moonshot that fell flat when life happened, took the allocated time away and forced me to rush this with duct-tape.
